Fo Ti Root- High cholesterol, high blood pressure, blood deficiency. Traditionally used to increase essence and blood. Acts as a heart tonic. Beneficial in treating plaque accumulation in arteries. Believed to increase blood circulation which may lessen the risk of strokes and cardiac problems. There are claims that Fo Ti Root reduces blood sugar. Also helps the kidneys and liver.
Schizandra- Believed to support the kidneys and has been recommended by herbalists for the treatment of frequent urination, excessive perspiration and persistent thirst. Believed to play a role in balancing the energy exchange among the different organs in the body...lungs, liver, spleen, heart and kidneys. Also helpful for premenstrual syndrome or PMS. Treats cardiovascular disease.
Cinnamon- Can lower LDL cholesterol and may be great support for heart health. Improving insulin resistance is helpful in weight control as well as decreasing the risk of heart disease.
Solomon's Seal- Moderates blood pressure. Known to have a mild regulating effect on the heart muscle. Invigorating, strengthening, and toning the kidneys
